    3. Hi Anne Go to this website http://members.iinet.net.au/~perthdps/shipping/mig-sa3.htm for details of the arrival of the ship "Ignis Fatuus": in Port Adelaide. No date of arrival is given but the newspaper source is dated 5/1/1854. Perhaps John Weaver was a crew member and travelled from South Australia to Victoria by some other means. hope this helps, Mary, Melbourne .. .. .... .. .. .... ... ... ... ... ... ----- Original Message ----- From: "AnneTrott" <AnneTrott@xtra.co.nz> To: <AUS-IMMIGRATION-SHIPS-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Monday, June 10, 2002 10:16 PM Subject: [AUS-IMM-SHIPS] Ignis fatuus > Hi All > I believe my GGGrandfather John Weaver arrived into Victoria in August 1853 > on the Ignis Fatuus as a unassisted passenger, this ship came from a > foreign port and I have searched all the shipping records that I can find > and cannot find any trace of this ship or its origin.
