He married Sarah NEWELL in Adelaide and they had a son in 1851. The family moved to Maitland in NSW between 1851 and 1853. Their second son was born in Maitland in 1853. How did they get from Adelaide to Maitland. I understand there is no listing of them in any shipping list. Would they have travelled by sea to Sydney and then by see to Morpeth? Any ideas???????
