    3. Hello listers I am hoping that someone may be able to do a lookup for me to find out when my Grandfather and his brother came to Australia who came to Australia prior to 1915. Sidney Glen Wood (my grandfather) Alfred Percival Wood (my grandfather's brother) both were born in Plaistow They enlisted in the Australian army on the 3 February 1915 - I look forward to your reply. The Federal Government took some time to get organised. It didnt take over emigration til c 1924. If their State of arrival was WA , you maybe in luck as WAGS have just published a CD of passenger arrivals from abt 1896 I think There are some early 1900 indexes for Victoria and Qld, but none for NSW, TAS and unsure about SA Bye Marg Morters Beautiful Central Coast of NSW Australia
