Hi everyone.This is my first posting.I am trying to find the name of a ship that sailed from Auckland NZ to Sydney in 1897.My great-grandmother Emma PREECE died on board on 30th April 1897.The name of the ship is hand-written and difficult to decipher but looks like Waikanae,Waikoras,Waikoria or something similar.I have searched through numerous databases to no avail . The purser was A C Walton and Edw Stott Chief Officer.Can anyone help with the name of this ship please. Thanks,Tim Preece.
