Dear List, This is something of a last resort... Has anybody ever come ascross an illustration/ picture of the ship "MELMERBY" which ran on the Queensland funded emigration runs for the James Baines / Black Ball Line 1865 onwards... I have contacted many places including Queensland state sources, New Brunswick, Canada where she was built, English maritime sources, and several contacts with Black Ball line experience, the majority have been extremely helpful. The main problem seems to be she was mainly chartered to the Black Ball line rather than having been an "owned" ship, therefore it hasn't been documented as much. Can anybody help ?
