Death Certificate 1888 states he was 54 which would make it 1834, but Birth Certificate for child Patrick (My Grandfather) gives his birth as 1844)) > When he died, Death Certificate states that he had been in Colony of Victoria for 22 years, which would make his arrival 1865 or 1866. > I know that this is a long shot, but could you please check to see if there is any mention of him on your Victorian Passenger Arrivals. > The first official mention of him is on the Marriage certificate 1 December 1867 m Bridget Daly b Co Tyrone 1846 > The Marriage took place in Warrnambool Vic. > It is rather difficult for me to access any records, other than those on the internet, as I live in New Zealand. > Would appreciate any suggestions you could give me as to web sites etc which I may be able to access. > > Thanks for your time, > Ross McNamara. >
