JAMES SALTER and his wife, MARY ANN (born HANNABUS) travelled from Devon in England to Tasmania in 1825 on the ship 'Harvey', accompanied by their three children. They were free settlers going to join James' uncle GEORGE SALTER who had been a 2nd Fleet convict. I would like to know something about the ship 'Harvey' but there seems to be little or no information on her. Would be grateful if anyone who has researched her would contact me.
