Hi Noelene, My grandfather came to Australia in 1910 from England on the Orvieto. I have yet to find the passenger list for that ship. There are several websites with ships and passenger lists available. Type 'Passenger Lists' into your search engine (I used Google) and you will get a number of hits - take it from there. My grandfather came to Australia from Lancashire at the age of about 20 so the story goes, on his own. Now seeing I don't know what ship he came on where do I start. It would be around 1911-1912 if that is true. His death certificate says he was in the country for 65 years but that could have been a guess by my grandmother and he died 1976. Hope someone can give me a few clues as to where to start.
