Can anyone tell me at which ports in Australia , ships bringing migrants from Scotland in the 1840s would be likely to land. I am looking for James McGregor, wife Margaret, children David, Jane, Joseph and Robert. who came here sometime in the 1840s. James was a cabinet maker.Are there lists of passengers who were in steerage available, It would help if I knew the name of the ship. which I don't.Maybe some one can help me. Lyn
