She mentioned trouble on the docks when they arrived and they were not allowed to leave the ship and the continuation of their journey to Sydney was delayed. So far I have not been able to find out the names of my mother in law and her guardians on shipping lists, nor have I been able to find the name of any ships arriving when there was trouble on the docks. As the first port of call, would the records (shipping lists) be held in W.A. or where they disembarked, NSW.? I do not know the name of the ship, she appears to have arrived during WW1.
