I know that he was living there in 1836 as my great-grandmother, Margaret Burnip was born there in 1836. The birth was not registered so I am unable to confirm this, although it is noted in her marriage certificate in 1860, in Colac, Victoria. Can anybody help? --- Incoming mail is certified Virus Free. 2. You could try http://pioneers.archives.tas.gov.au/Taslink2.asp If he did anything like marry in Tas it will be recorded here. Also there is a mailbox you can send to seek info for a fee.
