Hello List, I have evidence of my ancestors emmigration from Germany to Australia. I.e. They left Bremen (here is the problem I believe) on 11 October 1845 and arrived in Port Adelaide, South Australia on 24 January 1846. I have no idea if the ship travelled directly to Australia or via another country. The family I'm interested in is - Johann Heinrich WEGE; his wife Maria Sophia WEGE (nee LUEBKE); 2 daughters of Johann WEGE by a previous marriage; 2 sons of Maria's by a previous marriage (surname BRUSE). If anyone can advise me how I may obtain information about the ship's journey or the above family, I would be most grateful. Thank you. Kind regards, Allan Bruse (Perth, Western Australia)
Hi Allan, do you have information concerning the family in Australia?
