    3. Hello fellow listers This is my first post on this list. My paternal grandmother, Eliza GIBSON was born in Northumberland, England in 1888 and married in Sydney in 1914, so she must have immigrated in that time frame, 1888-1914. I do not know if she came with her parents but her father was deceased by 1914. Her mothers name was Jane nee JESSE. I need to find out when, with whom, on what ship and any other information on her she immigration Anyone have any ideas on how I could get this info. Also, my gggrandfather came to Australia, from Italy, via New York in 1858, I have a copy of the relevent shipping list. Is there any other sources I can find more info on his immigration. 3. Hi, I just joined the list. I am searching for an ancestor who came to Australia from England. He was born in 1848, and the registration district was Mutford, Suffolk. I checked the 1851 census index for Mutford, and he wasn't there! So either the family moved elsewhere, or I am thinking they maybe moved to Australia when he was very young, he would have only been 3. I have no idea what year he emigrated to Australia,(I know he lived in Victoria at some time) but if it was during the time span of 1848-1851, how do I go about finding which ships arrived during this time, and the passenger lists for them? On the same theme, if anyone has a passenger list from this time, could I impose a check up to see if he may be listed, his name being James Emanuel Brock. Thank you for any help, Karen
