I'd appreciate any assistance to find the record of the voyage & passenger list of the "Wakatipu" into Australia in 1879, please. Name: Heinrich Otto "Henry Otto" "Otto" ZINK (my great-grandfather) Birth: 1850, Gotha, Germany Heinrich was a bachelor when he arrived in Australia It is from his Cert. of Naturalisation dated 9 Oct 1900 that I found the name of the ship he arrived on: Whereas, in accordance with the provisions of an Act passed in the sixty-second year of the Reign of Her Majesty Queen Victoria, entitled the "Naturalisation and Denisation Act of New South Wales 1898," application to be naturalised has been made by Otto ZINK, of Emu Street, Burwood, native of Gotha, Germany, aged 50 years who is a builder and arrived in the Colony of New South Wales by the Ship, "Wakitipu" in the year 1879 and who has resided in the said Colony for 21 years, and intends to continue to reside therein: and whereas the said Otto Zink has duly taken the Oath of Allegiance proscribed by the said Act: Thanking you, Denyse Bonney in Townsville, Queensland
