Hi to the list, I am trying desperately to find when my Gt Grandfather came to Australia from Kent(thats where he was living when last known of). His name is Henry PRICE, or may be George Henry PRICE, and it is thought he immigrated unassissted in about 1876 from England to Australia. I thought he came to Adelaide but it may work out he came to Victoria. I am not sure if he came alone or with any family (eg brothers or sisters). Can anyone with detective tendencies please help? Also you could try the Australian War Memorial. They have a good website which gives info about service records and next of kin etc. Cheers Maureen ----- Original Message ----- From: "Sue Rowe" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Monday, September 12, 2005 9:28 PM Subject: Re: [AUS-IMM-SHIPS] Ships > Have you checked NSW registry of Births Deaths & Marriages? > > SR > ----- Original Message ----- > From: Mark O'Brien<mailto:[email protected]> > To: > [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> > Sent: Monday, 12 September 2005 8:51 PM > Subject: RE: [AUS-IMM-SHIPS] Ships > > > Hi, I'm hoping Someone can help I'm stuck.
