Hi everyone! I'm searching for information on "Grill" or "Grilk". It's confusing because I have certificates with Grill as the original name, but then it changes to Grilk. I don't know whether my ancestors were Grill's from Germany or Grilk's from the Netherlands. If what you were all saying about people changing their names were true,it's more than likely they were German Grill's and changed the "l" to a "k" to make Grilk. Would I be correct in thinking that? Or would it be possible that the spelling could have been wrong back in the early 1800's? Any suggestions? Thanks kindly, Sharron
