Could someone please help me with information on birth and marriages from Germany. My husbands G.G.Grandparents Henry Gottlieb MEIS and Catherine nee (DOERFLEEN )arrived in Adelaide 1855 on the ship Recruit with 2 children, Gottlieb age 8 and Charlotte age 4. By the time they reached Victoria their name had changed to MAES. On Gottlieb's naturalisation papers in 1907, he was born 28 June 1847 Stuttgart, Germany. Can I get a certificate of his birth and his parents marriage, if so how. The other information I have is Henry father was Gottlieb and Catherine father was Conrad and mother was madelina.
