Hi List Hope the New Year is starting off well for all of you. Thought I'd list the German names I'm researching. AMMERMANN - Two brothers, Frank - arrived Brisbane 1906, and Frederick - arrived Brisbane 1911. Frank married Wilhelmine Henriette THIELE in Nov 1911. They had 4 children Ethel May (who I can find no trace of except her birth, her younger brothers never knew she even existed and I can't find a death for her, any suggestions would be appreciated), Frederick Louis, Victor Harold and Wilfred. Frederick (aka Fritz) married Mary TAYLOR in April 1917. They had 2 children Frederick (my grandfather) and John. Both brothers were from East Friesland, Prussia. VON OVEN & LUDEMAN - Henry Frederick LUDEMAN married Hermine VON OVEN in Germany. Henry and Hermine arrived in Victoria Australia in 1854 with 4 children Henry Herman Alexander (married Paulina KOCH), Julius (died 1909), John George (married Helen JONES - 1878, married Emily BARLEY - 1881) and Maria (John KELLY - 1869, married Thomas GRIFFIN - 1880). Three more children were born in Victoria Charles Benjamin (married Agnes Maud TRACY - 1888, married Margaret MURPHY - 1905), Susannah Adelide Henrietta (died 1866) and Eleanor Margaret (married Charles MORGAN). LUDEMAN & KOCH - Henry Herman Alexander LUDEMAN married Paulina Mary KOCH in Oct 1871, Melbourne. Paulina was the 2nd child of Johann Gustave Wilhelm (aka William) KOCH and Charlotte Pauline RUDOLPH (parents were John RUDOLPH and Elizabeth GRUHN). Henry and Paulina had 9 children Mary Elizabeth (married Francis FEGAN - my great grandparents), William Henry (married Mary HEIMER), Charles Edward (married Sarah MURPHY), Eleanor Charlotte (married Thomas Leonard HARKER), Susannah Hermina (married Alexander Hugh OLIVER), Alexander (died 1899), John Henry (married Mary MURPHY), Henry Ernest (died 1890) and Emma Paulina (married John Howard WALLACE).
