Hi Albert and everyone, Thanks for your post Albert, was very interesting to read. After reading it i've decided to make this list a little more general. Still i would appreciate if anyone could stick to researching their rellies of Australian/German descent, but also i'll accept general discussions on genealogy research as well. I'm fairly new to this, been doing it for 2 years this august and i'm wondering if i'm not looking in some of the right places for resources. What i collect so far are Birth Deaths and Marriage Certificates. WW1 Dossiers. Shipping lists. What other information could i search for and how to further my information? Thanks, Ainslee
Well Ainslee, have you left Naturalizaton off your list? Easy to visit the archives (online) and check if your guy/s did obtain naturalization. Mostly these are very informative.
