Hi Friends, For you information - I am not connected any any way to the following Last Friday in our local Toowoomba newspaper, appeared a Letter to the Editor, as follows, quote " I am a student at the University of Queensland and am completing a Research Masters thesis. My topic is the impact of firist and second generation German-Lutheran migrants cultural values on Queensland politics in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. I understand your region had a significant German presence during that period. I wish to hear from readers who have gathered any family or local community history regarding the German-Lutherans cultural and political background before and after arriving in Queensland.
