Check out the available help & info at the Rootsweb site at http://www.rootsweb.com/ Also go to your local library who most probably have a book on the subject, but also look at how other family histories or just other books eg. local history, school history have been put together. Visit your local newsagent and check out what Family History magazines are available - there may be one on writing up your history, or just see how others have put short articles together that are about their family. Bookshops may have books on the subject, also some Genealogical Societies run workshops on various subjects, find out if there's one happening soon that will help. Anyone from a local society would put you on the right track. You will find lists in some of the Australian Family History Magazines or on their web sites. Hope this is helpful.
