KLEMMER August, from Saxony, 31 yrs old, left a British port in 1854 bound for Victoria, Australia on the ship Carpentaria. It appears he again left a British port in 1872, at 50 yrs old, bound for Victoria, Australia on the ship Hampshire. Can anyone find either of his departures from Germany? Did many Germans travel via England? I would appreciate your help/advice. Gail
