Thanks for the offer, Gail. :) I had GOTTE's, WITTBER's and SIEGELE (Seigel/Siegel) and arriving about that time, I'd appreciate if you would have a quick look to see if any are on your lists. When you say 'Wends' . . what do you mean? Do they come from a particular area? My families come from the Kingdoms of East and West Prussia (now Russian and Polish) and from Silesia, also said to be in the Kingdom of Prussia, according to the naturalisation papers.
