Hi all, I am researching my G Grandfather Jacob LAWSON. The family story says that he jumped ship in Sydney in the late 1800's and then married my G Grandmother Sarah Ann FRIEND. Somewhere around 1910 he disappeared and I can find no trace of him anywhere after that. I have checked the death and naturalisation indexes for all states, the WW1 concentration camp records and "Ships Deserters" and there is no trace of him. His marriage cert states that he was born in Hamburg about 1869 and his Father was Jacob LAWSON and his mother Mary ???. I have searched www.familysearch.org for his birth with no results. Dose anyone have any suggestions as to where i may go from here ?
