Hi The german families I am interested in are all based in South Australia. HIMMLER, Johann Wilhelm Christian from Osterode arrived in South Australia 1882. He moved around South Australia before settling in Walloway, Pinnaroo and then Hahndorf. FICHTNER, Carl Wilhelm August arrived from Berlin/Crossen with his wife Johanna Louise Charlotte (nee Schmidt) and their daughter Anna Elise in 1881. They settled in Hahndorf. Anna married Wilhelm Himmler. With them were SCHMIDT, Johann Friedrich and his wife Johanna Julianna (nee Greulich) and their two adult children Carl Friedrich August SCHMIDT (a chemist) and Marie Sophie Anna Clementine SCHMIDT (a seamstress). Carl later returned to Germany to live. The others remained in Hahndorf.
