Hi Judy Holding - thanks for your info - the Anders you speak of are, I am sure, connected but my boy was born in 1810 in Klosterstrenz, Silesia Prussia (died Adelaide 13 Jul 1874) and Anna Katherina was born in Bunes, Hafea, Germany (died in Adelaide as Mrs Carl Friederick Robert Schneider 13 Apr 1908). I have been onto various sites to find where these villages are but to no avail to date - BUT the search goes on - and I will certainly check "Horses Harrows and Haystacks" thanks Chris
