Hi team (this may be no use, but . . . as they say) I have several WORD files, with predictable names like Granny Smith. In each I put a brief note that I looked for Granny under Gypsy Migrants, at wwwxxx, and didn't find her. I give that a heading like, Not Gypsy, and make that a HEADING not a NORMAL line, then create a Table of Contents - (if you're a very new computer user, get someone to help you do this, then it's easy enough to maintain) - so when I open the file next time the Table of Contents says, Not Gypsy . . . . p 1 Not in TIMES obituaries . . . . p 2 Birth cert - have purchased . . .. p 3 and clicking on the page number takes me straight there if I want to refresh my memory, OR when I want to go back to that site in case more information has been added. And remember to back up the files on a disk, and keep it at a friend's house. Best of luck Migs Eder NZ -- Quote: There is no problem which cannot be made worse, especially if people claim there's no problem. - Modern / Trad.
