Hello, I have been researching my family tree in Queensland and many birth, marriage and death dates are missing or cloudy. When I enquired of the Queensland Government as to the availability of these indices, they informed me that these indices are available on Cd or microfiche as The Queensland Pioneer's Index 1829 - 1889, and the Queensland Federation Index 1890 - 1914. The total cost of these is $660.00. The cost makes it impossible for me to purchase these items and I was wondering if anyone knows where these microfiche/CD may be available for public use. I live in country NSW. I am researching the following names: Frederick CAVE who married Sarah ADAMS. Both were born in England and moved and later died in Rockhampton, Qld. Samuel SMYTH who married Mary McKILLOP. They had a daughter, Mary Jane SMYTH (b. 30.11.1876) in Bundaberg. Any information on the above would be appreciated. Thank you Lyn Ludwick
