    3. Hi I've just been on holiday in Brisbane (and loved the warm temperatures!!). I did a search through Nundah Historical Cemetery for my great grandparents and others (Wahry/Vahry, Stegmann, Knoll, Jakobsen) and did notice a few Schmalz graves there. The Nundah Historical Society is very helpful and has a list of graves (although I discovered it's not complete as I found other graves which hadn't actualy been listed) so if you don't live in Brisbane and can't easily get to the cemetery you could try contacting them on 3260 6703 or you could phone the sexton (who's actually based at a bigger cemetery but is responsible for the Nundah one) on 3403 5935. From memory, when you walk in the main entrance of the cemetery if you take the path to the right of the little rotunda/shed thing there are a cluster of Schmalz graves up there somewhere on the left. Good luck! Hope this helps Niki Francis Wellington, New Zealand ----- Original Message ----- From: "Elaine Smith" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Thursday, July 04, 2002 9:09 PM Subject: [AUS-GERMAN] Sailer > Hi > Looking for info on the following surnames - > Sailer, Noffke, Schmalz,Zeith > > Carl Noffke Born 1827 married Caroline Jaknissh (spelling could be wrong) > Freimans Zeith born about 1826 married Ernestine Holmann > Frederich Sailer born about 1821 married Christina Kraft > Wilhelm Schmalz born about 1827 married Johanna Stenzel > All of the above immigrated to Australia > Regards Elaine > > > ==== AUS-GERMAN Mailing List ==== > For your Aus-German resources go to > http://www.ainsleehooper.com/germlinks.htm > > ============================== > To join Ancestry.com and access our 1.2 billion online genealogy records, go to: > http://www.ancestry.com/rd/redir.asp?targetid=571&sourceid=1237 > >
