Hi Yvonne I have had queries before as to whether my "Rose" was german or not - yes it definitely is. It is possible that it changed from Rosink/Roseke in the 1300/1400's. I am sorry but I have not come across "Brockschneider" during my research but if I do I will certainly let you know.
