Neville, My German ancestor also came via London where he supposedly married. I haven't been able to find any trace of the marriage or her family at all. Mine was earlier - 1833 so before civil registration. I haven't even been able to find her family name which is on some documents as Daechester. Let us know if you have any luck. Sharon
