    1. New England Germans

    3. My research is now moving north. I am trying to develop some story in relation to Germans who came to the New England region of New South Wales in the 19th century. I have quite a bit of factual statements but no substance. What I have satisfies me that there was a large migration into Armidale and Tenterfield. I suspect there might have been some migration into Tamworth. Uralla comes up a lot so maybe they settled at Uralla rather than Armidale. Some years ago I had contact through this link with a man in Armidale who said he had a lot of information but I long since forget his name. Any information given will be most welcome and appreciated. This story of our Germans ancestors into new South Wales seems to be a story that has been neglected in favour of other states yet I am convinced it is a story every bit as big and important. Any help appreciated. Albert Grulke in hot sunny Melbourne
