I have not been able to find out where they went.Claus came with a Paul Schroder who appears to have settled around Brisbane, but I am not sure.Pauls children who came out on the same ship were Marie and Christina. Hi again Kerry, I should have said in the other email to go to "search the index" .... then follow the rest of the instructions below. For some reason it won't do a search on Schroder or any spelling variations. But if you do a ship search, up they pop! I found these 4 aboard the Aurora ... very strange indeed. SCHRODER C. C. F. 36 Aurora 1855 2468 SCHRODER Carl 17 Aurora 1855 2468 and relation SCHRODER Christian 19 Aurora 1855 2468 and relation SCHRODER Wilhelm 20 Aurora 1855 2468 A lot that came out at that time were contracted to farmers around the Condamine, Roma, Miles, Toowoomba area. Also a lot went to Gympie I was trying to work out why the Schroder name was familiar ... they are on my tree, I must have had my brain in neutral ! My girl is Louisia Fredrica Margarita Schroder, b. in the 1840's I have no idea where. According to her death record her pa. were George & Margaret Mouse. She m. Carl Dueffel & they settled somewhere around the Roma - Longreach area, Carl's dad (German) had been contracted to a farmer from Condamine. It may be worth your while searching the Toowoomba / Darling Downs area.
