I have searched convict records no connection The George Smith Alias William Reeves may be a reason why I have not been able to trace the guy (outside Chance any way) Ellen(Helen)Reeves was accompanied by William Reeves (son) & Jessie Reeves (daughter) The Dates appear to be a close fit as his wife Ellen Reeves came out on the "Northampton" in 1850 and the documents indicate Husband all ready in the Colony Some major issue caused the family split almost on arrival, which has not ever been explained. Thanks Lesley The reeves below belong to me but I have never discovered how he got here or what happened to him I have the history of Helen and the rest of them but nothing has ever come up about William It was just a long shot and when I thought about it a little more I realised he was not the fellow I was after.
