Max, My convict was also transported on the Hercules and I have been looking for a picture of it for ages. I've found out enough to know that the HMS Hercules on the ships pictures website is not the right ship. According to the Convict Ships book, the transport Hercules was built at Whitby, whereas the HMS Hercules was built somewhere else, can't remember offhand. There were at least two ships named Hercules in the Lloyd's List at the time (1832). If you ever do find a picture of the right one, please let me know. You're more likely than me to be succesful as you're a bit closer to the sources.
