Hello, Convict Stockade is by HistoryAustralia. So that is the owner and they should be contactable. But there are weird things about it all: 1) The logo hyperlinks at top left and top right of webpage is not to http://www.historyaustralia.org.au, but to http://www.historyaustralia.org.au/twconvic/ ~ the "Index of /twconvic"; which is mostly stuff about tikiwiki workings. 2) I you do go to the main page, http://www.historyaustralia.org.au it tells you "To Be Launched on 6 September 2008" (But this is now 7 September 2008). 3) And "This site is being Officially Launched at the Sussex Neighbourhood House Family History Open Day on 6 September 2008" - How could it have been "Officially Launched" yesterday when it is not working? Or at least the Wiki component is not working. But in fact not only the Wiki part is not working .. nothing seems to be. It states "In order to access the pages when they are launched you will need to click on "Cedric the Convict" (just to the left of this text). He will be the link through to the site during the launch period. After the launch a link will be available directly from the HistoryAustralia front page". None of that works. It is also "copyright - Ozgenie Research". 4) Notice that on the "contact us" webpage NO EMAIL ADDRESS is given. But there is a link to a webform(?). This too is not working and gives: """"""" The requested URL /<script>var ml="ozgenie";var mr="historyaustralia.org.au";var ma="@";document.write("<A HREF=\"mailto:"+ml+ma+mr+"\">e-mail</a>")</script> was not found on this server. """"""" 5) There is a Internet Family History Association of Australia Membership Application page (http://www.historyaustralia.org.au/ifhaa/memapp.htm) That also does not work properly .. but it gives another email address for him/them" ifhaamemapp@historyaustralia.org.au 6) There is a "Forum" = http://www.historyaustralia.org.au/smfforum/index.php The registration process for that *does* complete, then tells you "Thank you for registering. You will receive an email soon with a link to activate your account. If you don't receive an email after some time, check your spam folder." ,,,, However, the email never comes. 7) The Ozegenie page (http://www.historyaustralia.org.au/ozgenie/index.htm) states that "Ozgenie Research is the registered business name of Scott Brown and was first registered in Queensland in 1997 when preparations for the release of our first CD were being made. In late 2000 the business was moved to Victoria and has been registered there since February 2005. (Victorian Business Registration Number B1818618D)". You can find an email address there too = ozgenie@historyaustralia.org.au Hence this place has MAJOR problems, it seems !?
