    3. Hi Karen You did thank me :) The John Brunt who arrived into Port Jackson as a convict was born about 1807. I discounted him because you said that your John Brunt was born between 1822 and 1828. This one stated he was from Derbyshire regards Lesley Uebel mailto:ckennedy@bigpond.net.au CLAIM A CONVICT http://users.bigpond.net.au/convicts/index.html -----Original Message----- From: aus-convicts-bounces@rootsweb.com [mailto:aus-convicts-bounces@rootsweb.com]On Behalf Of Karen seckold Sent: Tuesday, September 16, 2008 3:23 PM To: aus-convicts@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [AUS-CON] Possible convict connection and question. Hi Lesley, They married in 9 jan 1852, in Geelong Victoria. I have the cert and all the kids from that marriage. My GGrandmother is one of them so I know it is right. So I didn't think what you sent me was the right one. He died 1903 in Melbourne but no parents listed on the cert. but he did say 52 years in Australia. This man was 49 for 3 years, fathered 3 children to his 3rd wife when he was 60+. His parents change on a few cert, just the mother and the place of birth. Might be 2 different people? I have confirmed the three marriages as his. What I am looking for is how did he get here and when. There was a convict in Tassie came out on the Emily but was not released until mar 1852. When he traveled to Melbourne I found a John Brunt convict from Sydney this morning will look into him but just don't know. I thought I thanked you, sorry about that. I get a bit mixed up sometimes! So thank you again. Great list by the way. Very helpful people. karen s Melbourne.
