    3. Linda, I wrote (email) to the Stafford Library to find out what had been printed in the newspaper of the time of my ancestors trial. . As you have the year and date this should be possible to find if there is a report. I received a reply from Dominc Farr. He is the assistant Librarian in the William Salt Library in Stafford. His address is dominic.farr@staffordshire.gov.au I have not been able to find any records online for these court cases.
