There are a range of James McCLELLANDs books in the reference section which I also checked as a matter of course as I have done many times before. The info is still conflicting but if youre serious in your research you need to check all available records How can history be out dated ? From memory the original publication of Charles BATESONs 'Convict Ships' book pre dates James McCLELLENDs books .
