Hello List, In February 2008 I contacted Leslie Uebel's Claim a Convict site and claimed David Jones 1833 Mangles. Leslie kindly gave me the name of another person who had previously claimed him by the name of Marian Johnston of 1 Brown St. Cardiff NSW. Unfortunately Marian does not have a computer so I sent off a letter to her via snail mail. I received a reply saying she was in the throws of moving house and her genealogy records were packed away but she would be in touch with me the moment she was settled. I waited until June for a follow up letter to no avail. I sent off another letter to 1 Brown St Cardiff which went unanswered. I tried calling her daughter's telephone number but received a recorded anouncement saying it was no longer connected. Thus I am stumped. Can somone please put me in touch with Marian Johnston. regards Max Bancroft

Cardiff is about 10 mins drive from me. I go past there quite often and would be happy to have a knock on the door of that address if it would help?
