Hi Kerri This time difference is a bit disorientating, isn't it! I have just looked up Crossmyloof on a Google map and see that it is about 10 to 15 miles to the east of Paisley. It was a very small village in the early 19th century but is now in the Cathcart area of Glasgow. I haven't come across it in relation to my Janet Goldie who moved about 5 miles west of Paisley to live in Kilbarchan with her husband. Goldie is a not uncommon name in the Renfrewshire area and I am not sure if we have the same Ann. Can you can let me know the surname of her husband and the names of her children., and I will see what I can find out? What crime did she and Bernard commit? Best wishes Rhoda (in a wet and grey London) ----- Original Message ----- From: "Kerri Ferguson " <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Sunday, August 24, 2008 12:50 AM Subject: Re: [AUS-CON] "Louisa" lasses: Ann Goldie > The address where Ann was living at the time of her arrest is; > > Crossmyloof > Renfrewshire > > (I know, I thought it was pretty cute too!) > > Does it ring any bells for you? > > Kerri > > -----Original Message----- > From: [email protected] > [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of CandROverson > Sent: Sunday, 24 August 2008 9:21 AM > To: [email protected] > Subject: Re: [AUS-CON] "Louisa" lasses: Ann Goldie > > Hello Kerri > > I am interested in your mention of Ann Goldie.
