I am new to genealogy and to this list My gg grandfather was David Kenny who came to Tasmania as a convict on the ship London in 1851. I have found a record of a David Kenny getting approval to marry an Elizabeth Smith in 1853 - I cannot find any record of offspring from this marriage nor any divorce. My gg grandmother was Bridget Kelly who came to Tas from Ireland with her parents (James and Mary Kelly) and two brothers on the ship Sir WF Williams. She and David Kenny are listed as the parents of my g grandfather (Thomas Kenny) but I can't find any record of a marriage. My questions are:- . Are these two David Kennys the same? . Did David Kenny and Bridget Kelly actually marry? . What happened to Elizabeth Smith? . What happened to Brdiget Kelly's parents and her two brothers? Will appreciate any help. Regards Doug Kenny
