Hi Peggy, I also found him in the Tasmanian Records there is quite a bit about him.. and his trial etc. you can take a look at it yourself on the link below. http://portal.archives.tas.gov.au/menu.aspx?search=11 Basically all that you have to do is click on the link and it will take you to the search page and you can type in his name.. ( luckily for you there is only one John Thomas CLARKE) and then click on the link there (database Number) and it will take you to the record you can click on the links in that page also it will take you to the original record which has been digitised and is available online (well two out of the three have ) the conduct record is the most interesting it contains most information.. the Indent does tell you a bit about him also.
