Ann was a convict, she sailed from the Downs on 3rd May 1838 and arrived in Port Jackson on the 27th August 1838, after 116 days at sea, on board were 171 female prisoners, 23 convict's children, there were also 5 free women, 19 children and passengers on the ship "John Renwick".
