I had a look on the National Library of Wales website - index of Great Sessions/Assizes 1720 to 1830 at http://www.llgc.org.uk/sesiwn_fawr/index_s.htm   Unfortunately the only Mary I found in Brecon who was transported was a Mary Thomas at http://www.llgc.org.uk/php_ffeiliau/sf_results.php?name=mary+&co=All&status=&off_co=All&off_cat=Any&from=1810&to=1830&prosecutor=&freetext=&punish=transported   Why not ask for help at  the BRECONSHIRE list?   Subscribing. My GG Grandmother Mary Vaughan who married Samuel Powell in Wales in 1813 in Brecon ( Breconshire Wales), no parents on the IGI, Mary was a convict and was sentenced to 7 years, information from my cousin Bernie who has been researching for thirty years so my time to pick up a thread, Mary finished her sentenced before she came to Australia in 1820 on the Convict Ship Earl St Vincent with Samuel, I have scanned the Old Bailey Records and found nothing, could she have been sentenced in Wales or maybe Scotland. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
