Jan, I found a death - 9853/1884 CRANFIELD JOHN H ROBERT W ELLEN LITHGOW parents names are Robert W. and Ellen. If you look on familysearch.org you might find a John Cranfield with these parents christened in Bedfordshire. Look around 1800 +/- 5 years.
