I have located information that GEORGE HALL, convict No. 6029 was transported to Western Australia on the ship Lincelles which left Portland, England on 5 Oct 1861 bound for the Swan River Colony and arrived in Freemantle, Australia on 28 January 1862 to serve out his sentence. George was convicted of housebreaking in Glasgow Scotland in 1859 and received a sentence of 8 years to be served in the Glasgow Prison but was instead shipped to Australia. Information states his Ticket of Leave Date was 2 Aug 1862. Certificate of Freedom Date is listed as 19 Feb. 1868. Known areas Champion Bay. Comments Shepherd, shoemaker. To South Australia, 22 Mar 1877. How do I obtain copies of these documents? Would anyone have any information on George Hall's whereabouts after he was released from prison?
