Hi Lyn, I have a more basic question than yours. :-) Are you sure you have the right Mary COOK, because from what you say this Mary was transported 11 Apr 1832, before your Mary was even arrested (24 Sep 1832)? It would be awful if you expended so much effort on researching the wrong Mary. Oops. Mary was arrested in January not September. Definitely the right Mary Cook arriving on the Hydery. The Conduct Register mentions the 4 children accompaning her and the fact her husband was also transported. Too many dates racing around in my head I think :) Lyn ----- Original Message ----- From: "Pam Dowling" <genie@free.net.nz> To: <aus-convicts@rootsweb.com> Sent: Tuesday, May 19, 2009 2:00 PM Subject: Re: [AUS-CON] what happened to the children? > Hi Lyn, > > I have a more basic question than yours. :-) Are you sure you have the > right Mary COOK, because from what you say this Mary was transported 11 > Apr > 1832, before your Mary was even arrested (24 Sep 1832)? > > It would be awful if you expended so much effort on researching the wrong > Mary. > > Kind regards > Pam
