    2. MargM
    3. I wonder if many of you saw a program on the ABC tonight 'Births , Deaths & Marriages registry at the Borough of Westminster, London ??? The 2 aspects I found of greatest interest was the parents bringing their babies to the Registry to register their birth and other folk just verbally in person registering deaths. Not sure of the ins & outs of other States but in NSW its the funeral director for a death & the hospital who sends the birth info thru to the BDM Registry. Was a very interesting program. If you missed it you can catch up via ABC IView. Bye MargM List Admin

    3. Here is some good news that we have all been waiting for. Now don't all rush and crash the site. BDM Queensland Index Search www.bdm.qld.gov.au Records available are: a.. Births-1829-1914 b.. Deaths-1829-1983 c.. Marriages-1829-1938 I haven't had time to check this out yet as to whether its just on line ordering or you can order and download the image as has been the case for ages with VIC BDMS Bye MargM List Admin
