He is reported to have married Carolyn MYGATT on 13 April 1751 in Wethersfield. If you were to go by popular opinion as expressed in the LDS Ancestral File and Pedigree Resource File, and other online databases, this Josiah Atwood died on 17 January 1753. This same popular opinion has him as the parent of numerous children after his death. I'd like to hear from anyone who has sorted out this contradiction.
